Since 1987, the IHA has edited and published the Cahiers d’histoire de l’aluminium / Journal for the History of Aluminium, a biannual journal devoted to the history, culture and heritage of aluminium.
The Journal of the history of aluminium offer an overview of recent research in the human sciences, cultural and scientific events, collections and research tools related to aluminium.
The journal publishes articles in French, in English or in a bilingual version, written by researchers, both young and experienced, and heritage professionals. It also makes room for former aluminum professionals, who write studies or give testimonies on the history of their industry.
The Journal of the history of aluminium are a reference within the community of researchers and amateurs interested in the history of light metal.
Each issue of our review offers a portfolio presenting a collection of objects, works of art or photographs, and each article is accompanied by illustrations, most often unpublished.
The electronic version of the Journal for the history of aluminium is available on the Cairn platform since issue 41 (2008).
The articles presented in the Journal are listed in our online catalog since issue n°1 (1987).
