IHA
Information and documentation
In 20 years, IHA has built up a unique set of resources on the history of aluminium and its industries, comprised of a specialised library, document collections, corporate or private archives, image and audiovisual collections and bodies of written or verbal testimonies.

IHA makes these collections available to researchers, companies and cultural institutions and has a consultation room for that purpose.

From 2006, IHA’s new website, www.histalu.org, will gradually put the institute’s catalogue online and give access to part of the related resources.

IHA also guides researchers and helps them gain access to the archives of companies and trade bodies.

In addition to these assignments, it carries out documentary research for third parties on request and under certain conditions
