IHA
Exhibitions
IHA regularly takes part in the preparation of temporary or permanent exhibitions at the request of public or private institutions.

Its contribution can take several forms, including :
  • technical and historical expertise,
  • providing documentary resources,
  • loans of objects from the IHA or Jean Plateau – IHA collections,
  • Assistance in defining content and museography.

The most common themes are :
  • Familiar or little-known uses of aluminium: architecture, packaging, design, transport, gold- & silver-working, coinage, etc.
  • Scientific and technical aspects of the aluminium industry, particularly the history of inventions and processes.
  • History of companies and industrial sites, etc.

Thereby, the Institute has participated to the organisation of about twenty exhibitions since 1986.
